Uber tells engineer at center of Waymo lawsuit: Dish, or be ditched

Uber’s engineer who led its self-driving car program was told by the company’s top lawyer to comply with a lawsuit from Google-owned Waymo or face potentially being fired.

Anthony Levandowski was told in a letter from Uber’s then-general counsel Salle Yoo “that if he did not comply with the lawsuit, he could face ‘adverse employment action,’ which may include the loss of his job, according to a court filing on Thursday,” The New York Times reported.
